Systems UX · Device Experiences · Design Leadership
I design clarity into complex systems.
I’m Yuelei Huangfu, UX Design Lead at ELEGOO. Over the past nine years, I’ve worked at OPPO, Baidu, and Meizu to shape operating-system experiences, new device interactions, and 0→1 products—building shippable systems across user value, product competitiveness, and delivery constraints, then testing design judgment against real user and product signals.
Intent-driven interaction, intelligent hardware, multimodal feedback, and the evolving balance between system autonomy and user control in AI-enabled products.

From experience frameworks to real product outcomes.
Three shipped projects show how I frame complex problems, build coherent systems, and lead cross-functional delivery.
01ColorOS 15 · Personalization
Turning three fragmented entry points into one coherent personalization system
Facing fragmented Always-On Display, Lock Screen, and Home Screen entry points, I led their redesign into one coherent creation flow and built a composable, extensible system of layouts and content.

OPPO Find N3 Flip · New device form
Evolving a constrained cover screen into an extensible app-based system
Facing the tension between a small cover screen, broader app capability, and a standalone-card framework that could not keep scaling, I proposed an app-based framework, defined five responsibility-based and partly parallel system spaces, and coordinated cross-team delivery.
03OPPO Find X Series · Hardware–software UX
Building cross-state rules for one physical button
A physical button can trigger from any system state while 10 modules may respond differently. I built hardware–software rules across 5 behavior categories × 5 context groups, then moved setup into the first-use journey. How I work
From complex signals to systems teams can ship—and outcomes they can verify.
Four connected moves take work from framing through launch, then feed what we learn into the next decision.- 01
Frame the real tension
Bring user signals, product goals, and technical boundaries together to expose one consequential, decision-ready problem.
ColorOS · 1.7K+ feedback items → 3 decision layers: framework / layout / resources - 02
Build a reusable experience grammar
Break complex capabilities into user intent, system state, triggers, and feedback rules—so behavior stays legible, outcomes predictable, exceptions recoverable, and the product can keep growing.
N3 Flip · 5 system spaces; Shortcut Button · 5 behavior categories × 5 context groups - 03
Orchestrate shared delivery
Turn the rules into a language cross-functional teams can build from, using specifications, staged scope, and key decisions to protect quality and pace.
N3 Flip · Coordinated 15+ teams responsible for cover-screen lock-screen widgets · 30 components shipped - 04
Calibrate with real outcomes
Test the system through usability, production behavior, and product-level signals—then carry the evidence into the next decision.
