About

Finding the answer that works—for people, the product, and the team.

I’m a senior UX designer and design lead focused on operating systems, new device forms, and complex product experiences. My work often begins with an ambiguous problem: organise the evidence, identify the real system tension, then work with product, user research, engineering, UX/UI, motion, and creative design partners to build an experience that can ship.

Good systems design does not expose complexity. It gives complexity an order that works quietly in the background.

Design criteria

Clarity, value, and coherence are the three standards I use to judge an experience.

01Clear

Build a clear expectation

People should know where they are, how the system will respond, and what they can do next. The system—not the user—should carry the complexity.

02Valuable

Spend complexity where it creates value

Each capability should serve a clear user and product outcome, with explicit trade-offs across learning cost, implementation effort, and long-term maintenance.

03Coherent

Make every part belong to one system

Behavior and feedback should stay coherent across states, entry points, and devices, so new capabilities extend the system instead of adding exceptions.

Design leadership

From making a strong solution to helping more people build a stronger product together.

01

Craft & initiative

Hold a high bar for interaction, systems thinking, and product detail, while stepping forward before the problem has been neatly defined.

02

Project leadership

Turn complex goals into a shippable path and make clear calls across quality, pace, and available resources.

03

Cross-functional collaboration

Help product, user research, engineering, UX/UI, motion, and creative design teams work from a shared problem and shared language.

04

System influence

Create frameworks, standards, and methods that let one project decision support more teams and future releases.

Professional background

From systems UX to end-to-end product experience.

Practice

Nine years in UX design and leadership

I currently lead end-to-end product experience and design team development at ELEGOO, following work across operating systems, new device forms, and zero-to-one products at OPPO, Baidu, and Meizu.

Education

Industrial design × information and interaction

I earned both my master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Wuhan University of Technology. My master’s work focused on information and interaction design, while my undergraduate work focused on information art design.
